Fred "Derf" Price was the best. A decorated Special Missions Operative, Fred fought to protect his country from any threat. When he was betrayed by his commander and framed for treason, Fred escaped and became the mercenary known as Flinch. Never willing to break his personal code of ethics, Flinch helps the underdog in any situation. When a mission brought him to Tampa, Flinch eventually crossed paths with the Loners and befriended their leader, YoYo Lad.
